Fall Layout - Creative Embellishments

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Creative Emellishments Blog today with this Fall layout.  An afternoon walk on my property was the inspiration for my layout.  Some leaves are still clinging to the trees, others have fallen to the ground.  Bare bushes, bearing red and yellow berries caught my eye.  Off in the distance I see a buck  run off into the woods.  Love the serenity that nature evokes. 

I used paper from Ciao Bella Cozy Moments along with papers from P13 The Four Seasons Autumn, along with lots of chipboard from the store.  All chipboard was treated with paints.  I used various colors to achieve the color variations in the leaves.

The base of the layout features the Wilted Frame painted with DecoArt Americana Sable Brown Paint and Folk Art Matte Cinnamon Paint, stippled with DecoArt Americana Raw Umber Paint.  Some of the leaves from Autumn Leaves were painted with Folk Art Matte Yellow Ochre Paint, stippled with Raw Umber Paint, others with DecoArt Americana Terra Cotta Paint, stippled with Raw Umber Paint.

Leaves from Maple Leaves Set 3 were painted with Folk Art Matte Yellow Ochre Paint and DecoArt Americana Terra Cotta Paint and stippled with Raw Umber Paint.  Berries were painted with DecoArt Americana Terra Cotta Paint and stippled with Raw Umber Paint.

Wood Veneer Maple Leaves were painted with a mixture the same paints I used on all of the other leaves.  I added some dried goldenrod from my garden along with some Prima letters from my stash.

 Hi everyone! I'm up on the Creative Embellishments Blog today with a wintery nature themed layout.

 Cozy Moments paper by Ciao Bella along with a variety of chipboard from the store were used.  Lots of layering and fussy cutting. The base of the layout features the Pine Needle Frame, painted with DecoArt Americana Dark Chocolate Paint, and stippled with Folk Ark Matte Wicker White Paint.  I cut the frame into several pieces.

Wood Veneer Pine Cones were painted with DecoArt Americana Dark Chocolate Paint and stippled with Folk Art Matte Twill Paint.  Chipboard snowflakes were painted with Folk Art Matte Wicker White Paint.

Fern Foliage 5 was painted with Folk Art Matte Cinnamon and Wicker White Paint.  Mini Leaves Set 5 was painted with Folk Art Matte Twill Paint and stippled with DecoArt Americana Dark Chocolate Paint and Fern Foliage 3 was painted with DecoArt Americana Mississippi Mud Paint and stippled with Folk Art Matte Twill Paint.

Pieces from Cotton were dabbed with Folk Art Matte Wicker White Paint.

Love all the layers of neutral colors!

Time - Steampunk Layout - Creative Embellishments

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Creative Embellishments Blog today with a steampunk layout.

I used papers from Scrap Boys House of Science along with steampunk chipboard from the Creative Embellishments Store.  All chipboard was treated with paints.  I used DecoArt Americana Lamp Ebony

Black, DecoArt Extra Sheen Copper, Folk Art Color Shift Black Flash, Folk Art Sugar Metallic Smoky Quartz, Folk Art Brushed Metal Copper and Folk Art Metallic Taupe.

I used Timeless - ATC Frames and Time - ATC Frames.  Placed between the frames I used a piece from Simple Gear Flourish.

Love the figures from Victorian Wind Up 2.  Here I used the man.

Here's the woman from Victorian Wind Up 2.  I added some flowers and diecuts.

Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Creative Embellishments Blog today with this magical layout. 

I used several chipboard pieces from the Creative Embellishments Store along with papers from P13 Woman in Gold.  

The base of the layout features a frame from Square Stamp Frame, painted with DecoArt Americana Aloe and Italian Sage Paint, stippled with Folk Art Matte Wicker White Paint and embossed with Stampendous Aged Gold Embossing Enamel.  Lots of layering with chipboard pieces.  Palms from Palm Leaves 2 were painted with Folk Art Matte Thicket Paint, Folk Art Italian Sage Paint and embossed with Aged Gold Embossing Enamel.  Twigs were painted with DecoArt Americana Dark Chocolate Paint, Folk Art Matte Wicker White Paint, DecoArt Americana Light Avocado Paint and embossed with Aged Gold Embossing Enamel.  The gentleman is from Tim Holtz Paper Dolls and is resting atop a frame from Mint Box Flourish Frame Set 2.

Leaves from Mini Skeleton Leaves and Fall Skeleton Leaves Set 2 were painted DecoArt Americana Light Avocado and DecoArt Metallic Splendid Gold Paints

Tree Rings were painted with DecoArt Metallic Splendid Gold Paint.  The title is from Finnabair Sentiments.

Flourish Set 6 was painted with DecoArt Americana Aloe paint and embossed with Aged Gold embossing Enamel.

Autumn - Creative Embellishments

 Hi everyone!  Debbie here with you today sharing my latest DT project created for Creative Embellishments.  Since my last post, the weather has changed.  A little bit cooler and a bit breezy.  Leaves are just starting to change color, so I decided to create a fall layout.

I used lots of fall products from the Creative Embellishments Store and papers from The Four Seasons Autumn by P13.  I had a lot of fun layering leaves and acorns!  All chipboard and wood veneer pieces were treated with paint. The base of my layout features the Twig Frame with Fall Leaves.  The frame was painted with DecoArt Americana Raw Sienna and Raw Umber Paint along with Folk Art Country Twill Matte Paint.  The leaves from the frame set were painted with DecoArt Americana Terra Cotta and Raw Umber Paints.

The title piece is from the Autumn Leaves Set, painted with DecoArt Americana Milk Chocolate Paint and stippled with DecoArt Americana Raw Umber Paint.

Berries from the Autumn Leaves Set and Mini Berry Set were painted with Folk Art Red Clay Terra Cotta Paint.  Leaves from Maple Leaves - Wood Veneer were painted with DecoArt Americana Burnt Orange Paint along with Folk Art Matte Yellow Ochre and Thicket Paints.  Acorns from Acorns - Wood Veneer were painted with DecoArt Americana Milk Chocolate Paint and Folk Art Matte Thicket Paint.  Leaves from Maple Leaves Set 3 were painted with DecoArt Americana Raw Sienna and Burnt Orange Paints along with Folk Art Mate Thicket and Yellow Ochre Paints.

Tucked within the layers is a piece from Flourish Set 10

Pieces from Mini Wheat were painted with Folk Art Twill Matte Paint and stippled with DecoArt Americana Raw Umber Paint.

Beneath the owl is a piece from Autumn Leaves pained with Folk Art Yellow Ochre Paint and DecoArt Milk Chocolate Americana Paint.
