It's Friday and I have some projects to share!

I know I say this every week, but TGIF!!!!!  First off, I'm finally better, not 100%, but I would say 80%.  It's been a long month and I'm so glad to be over the hump and getting back my energy!
I have a couple of projects to share with you today.  My first is a layout for the new sketch challenge over at Stuck On U Sketches.
We have a beautiful sketch designed for Stuck On U Sketches by Vanessa Waller ( Ness)
When I saw this sketch I knew I wanted to do another layout of my grandparents.  After my grandfather retired from the RCMP, he worked for a while at a security position at the British Embassy in Canada.  I found this picture of him and my grandmother, along with the original invitation to attend an evening affair at the embassy.
I scanned the original invitation and printed out a copy for my layout.

I used a little bit of everything on this layout, from Basic Grey and Graphic 45 papers, Prima flowers and roses,  K and Company butterflies and Making Memories.  I did a lot of fussy cutting with the Graphic 45 paper, and believe it or not I trimmed the layout with peach seam binding!
Please pay a visit to Stuck On U Sketches to take a look at what our wonderful DT has created using the lovely sketch by Ness.
Friday also means a new Fabulous Friday challenge over at Frosted Designs!  This week's challenge is a word challenge, using thanks or thankful on your project.  I chose to make a card to give to my mom for Thanksgiving.
I chose to use some of the beautiful Teresa Collins paper from my November Sweet Peach Crop kit.  Don't  you just love that big beautiful flower by Maya Road and the little Jenni Bowlin butterfly?  Please come over to Frosted Designs to see what the rest of our DT has created and while you are there don't forget to check out our Sketch Along Tuesday sketch!  There's still time to enter this challenge.
Okay now, there should be no excuses for not being creative this weekend.  We have a new sketch up at Stuck On U Sketches, a new Fabulous Friday word challenge at Frosted Designs, a new sketch challenge which I shared with you yesterday at Sketches In Thyme, and a sketch challenge over at Artful Delight.
Let's get those creative juices flowing!!!
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Yes my creative juices will be flowing this weekend_I'm so excited to be going on a 3 day Scrapbooking retreat- I did 34 power layouts and I'm ready to scrap. Seriously, that layout is amazing!!! I am not exactly too good with that particular line from G45, so I think you outdid yourself, amazing!

Seriously your LO's are absolutely fabulous. Now for a stupid question (I think), How do you keep your LO's safe. They have such dimension to them, if you put them in an album, don't they get squished?

Just beautiful though! So happy to hear you are feeling better!
