Watch Dog

Happy Friday Everyone!  This layout is my DT project this week over at Frosted Designs.  This week's challenge is to use embossing on your project.  I will admit that I do not do a lot of embossing on my layouts, but am tickled pink with how cute this layout is.  The subject of my layout is my precious dog,  Zoey.  She is definetely the "watch dog" of the yard.  She will sit by the side fence keeping on eye on the back of the property.  She patiently sits waiting for the deer, rabbits, or anything else that happens to appear.  I love the smaller photo on the layout!  Can you see her nose peering through the gate?

Most of the paper I used is  the new Basic Grey Origins.  Great for those outdoor layouts.  I also used some papers by Making Memories, Chloe's Closet.

I used the distressed Stripes Cutttlebug embossing folder on the fence, then added some chestnut roan ink.
The Bazzill paper I used on the tree was already embossed.  I used my Cricut Serenade cartridge to cut out the tree.  The cute little bird is from the K and Company Ka-zoo collection.  The flowers along the fence are Basic Grey Origins.  I cut the grass using Cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook.

I cut the watch out from Cricut cartridge My Community.  The flowers are Making Memories Chloe's Closet.
The cute little little bees are K and Company Ka-Zoo. I used the Loop punch by Martha Stewart.  The cute little sign that points to Zoey's nose came from the digital kit, Everyday Moments by Digital Scrappers Experts. Oh, almost forgot, I used Cricut cartridge Street Sign for the title. I had so much fun working on this one!  Hope you enjoy it.
