Love Is In The Air - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  I'm back to share my second July project for 2Crafty Chipboard.

I used papers from the Prima Love Clippings collection and added some masking and stamping to the background.

I used both of the Corner Annalise, one on each side of my picture.  Both were embossed with Antique Taupe embossing powder.

I embossed the Fine Leafy Bush with Verdant Embossing powder, then lightly inked the edges with a lighter green ink.  I cut the chipboard into pieces and placed it in several areas of my layout.

Here I've placed a piece from the Beaded Hanging Heart embossed with a mixture of Antique Taupe and Plum Embossing powders.  I inked a piece from the Lacey borders with a distressed ink and placed pieces randomly around my picture.

My title, Love is in the Air was treated the same as the Beaded Hanging Heart, embossed with a mixture of Antique Taupe and Plum embossing powders.

Explore - More Than Words July Challenge

Hi everyone!  Hope you are enjoying the weekend!  I've been doing my best to stay indoors.  It's been extremely hot and humid. I've got a layout to share that I created for the July Challenge at

You  must incorporate the word explore along with arrows in your project.

I live in a rural area just outside of the city.  My house sits on 5 1/2 acres of land and it is normal to see lots of wildlife.  Deer, rabbits, foxes and the occasional coyote.  I was watching rabbits hop around the other day looking for food.  It made me wonder what is is like for a animal to explore their surroundings.  I came across the photo I used on Pinterest.  Thought the mouse was the cutest little thing.  Couldn't help but wonder what he/she was out and about for.

I found some old letter stickers in my stash along with some metal arrows.

I used several pieces of chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard to created a scene around the picture.  I embossed the Avery Vines, Mini Branches and Viney Frame Circles with various shades of green embossing powders.  I thought the Viney Frame Circle looked like a continuous line of arrows.

Added this additional title from 2Crafty Chipboard Arrow Word Set.  I applied some Prima Art Stones around the base and sides of the picture and added some brown and green microbeads.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday ........ so ready for the weekend!!!
I've got a layout to share with you today that I created for the July Challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo

The theme for the July Challenge is beauty.  I chose to scrap this picture I took a few years back of a bee on flower in my garden.  Love the beauty in all things nature.
I added lots of stamping and misting on the background paper and as always my favorite chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Here are a few closeups:
I embossed the Frame Lucy's Flourish with a mixture of Ebony, Fuchsia and Verdant
embossing powders.  The same was used on the Bubble Clumps.  The bottom left of the
picture is a piece from the Oriental Flower Stem, embossed with Verdant embossing powder.
I added some microbeads to the Bubble Clumps.

The title was embossed with a mixture of Ebony and Fuchsia embossing powders.
  Love the effect!

Tucked beneath the pink is a flower piece I cut from the Oriental Flower Stem,
which I embossed with Fuchsia embossing powder.

I'll be back in a few days to share another layout with you featuring chipboard from 2Crafty chipboard.

Thanks for stopping by!
