Prima's July Product Pick

Hi everyone!  Hope all of you are enjoying the weekend.  It's a hot and humid one here in Maryland.
Temps today nearing 100 degrees.  A perfect day to stay inside!  I've been in the process of cleaning
out my scrapbooking supplies (seems like a never ending thing) and came across some Prima papers from their Lyric collection.  Love the vintage touch to the papers and decided to use them on a layout featuring a picture of my mom and her little brother.  A favorite picture of mine, as I have used it several times on layouts.  This is my first time creating using Prima's Product Pick.  Loved the colors!  Here is my layout, filled with lots and lots of Prima products.

and what I drew my inspiration from, Prima's July Product Pick:
Love the flowers, colors, the straws and the orange chair!

Layouts Featuring Blue Fern Studios Paisley & Vine Collection

Hi everyone! Today I have two layouts to share with you that I created using the new  Paisley & Vine Collection by Blue Fern Studios along with their gorgeous chipboard.

On  my first layout I used Bohemian, Nature, Vineland and Playing Card papers and added some masking, misting, paints and microbeads.

The Circle Flourish Chipboard surrounds my photo.  I first applied some gesso to the chipboard and then added some misting, water colors, gelatos and microbreads.

I painted a piece of the Quartre Foil chipboard with some yellow and blue paints and added more microbeads and tucked the chipboard behind the flowers.

Here I've used a piece from the Layering Stems chipboard, which I painted with watercolors and gelatos and added more of the blue microbeads.

I used the Whimsy paper as my background, which I lightly
applied light pink ink around the outside of the paper.  I also used Playing Card and Passion papers from the collection.

I inked the chipboard Perfect with some dark red ink and placed pieces of the Framington Medley chipboard, which I embossed with white powder and added some blue ink around my picture.

A gorgeous Royal Monarch chipboard butterfly embossed white and placed within a flower cluster is the perfect touch!

I hope you enjoy my layouts!

New Blue Fern Studios Collection - Frolic

With summer upon us and lots of sunshine and colorful flowers, it's a
perfect day to  reveal Blue Fern Studios new paper collection, Frolic.
Frolic, as a verb, is to play and move about cheerfully, excitedly, or energetically, and that is just what we want you to think of when you see this collection.  The colors and designs are certainly cheerful and energetic.  How perfect for so many projects!  Here are the individual papers from the collection so you can see what we mean.
Take your time as you scroll through this beautiful 10-page collection.

But we have more good news - we didn't stop with just the paper.
We have chipboard pieces designed to coordinate with the Frolic Collection!

Have you had a chance to try our very popular stamp sets?  These 4x6 sets are of the highest quality
clear photo-polymer.  We have designed two stamp sets to coordinate with our Frolic Collection.
