So Sweet - SOUS Challenge

For those of you who have expressed their concern for my daughter, I want to say thank you for caring.  It's been a long and stressful week and I am taking it one day at a time.  Her well being is in God's hands and I've
taken a step back and pray that he will guide her. As a parent of an adult child, it is hard when they are in their darkest hours.  You can be there for them, but you can't fix them.  As I prefer to keep the details private, all I can say is that I came very close to losing my daughter this past week.  I have found great comfort this week in praying and knowing that God is not only watching over my daughter, but me and my family.  I am going to take a few days off from blogging and focus on myself and  my family.  I hope that everyone has a joyous weekend, whether you are celebrating Passover or Easter!  Enjoy your time with your family!

My scrapbooking has been the last thing on my mind.  I've worked on this layout a little at a time this week and finished it up last night.
This is my niece as a baby.  She is now 18 years old.   Last Friday when I saw the new sketch at
Stuck On U Sketches by Liz Qualman, I just knew it was meant for me:
Here are a few closeups:

I used my April kit from Artful Delight!    I've really enjoyed working with this kit and have savored every scrap of it.  I've completed five layouts from it so far and have one more I'm working on.
If you are interested in this kit:
there are two left and you can order here.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh Deb, I can only imagine whay you must be feeling. Praying and leaving her recovery in god's hands is the best thing and know I will be praying for her too. You know as a single mum I resonate your fears, we do it on our own dear girl but even though their is only one of us, they get double the love from their mums. Give her a kiss from Mel and Nate in Australia. Love MElxx

If you only knew how much my heart breaks for you -- knowing that you've been through a divorce, job losses, and now struggling with worrying about your daughter, I can only say that you have my prayers. Don't give up faith that God can answer our prayers. He loves you Debbie, and He loves your daughter as well. May God heal in every way needed is my prayer.

And of course your layout is bright, cheery, colorful, and beautiful. Your talent amazes me.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers sweetie.
It is tough being a mother of adult children and not being able to fix everything.
Trust God has a plan and a path and you will know.

I'm so bad to be a "skimmer" when I'm checking out blogs! I totally missed that your daughter is going through some trials! Best wishes! It can be so hard watching the ones you love go through something that you can't do anything to stop it!

Thinking of you as well...I am a bit late over here and I apologize.
Sometimes I don't think words express themselves the right way but at least let me say that I am relieved to hear you've found some strength through leaning on God because as much as we've got friends and things like that, leaning on Him can be the only true way to move through something..
This project was a special one for me the second I saw it...pretty sweet my dear!
