Bliss and Pure Joy - SOUS Reveal

Can't believe it is already Friday.  My how time sure does fly.  September has ended and October has begun!  I love Fall!
We have a new sketch reveal over at Stuck On U Sketches today. A wonderful sketch by Becky Fleck!
What started out as a tough sketch for me, finally came together in this layout.  Would you believe it if I told you that this was my third attempt?  I had two other ideas in mind, but neither of them worked to my liking.
I found myself again gravitating towards some more old pictures of my mom growing up.  I was so moved by the simplicity of their life.  No TV, no computers, no cell phones.  Just life as it was back then.  Simple and pure.
I used a lot of Jenni Bowlin products on this layout and lots of die cuts from K and Company, and some Prima flowers.

I'm pleased with the final product and find myself drawn again to looking through some more old photos.
I found a few of myself when I was 5 and I hope to use them both soon in some layouts.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
. . . Debbie

I freak everytime I see something from Jenni B but I don't have a single thing from her! geez! LOL!
I LOVE how you combine things...I mean the way you put things together is beyond genius!!!
I have a fantasy of being able to step back into another time...when life was simple. However, I don't know that I am tough enough for the real work it took to live! Like no microwave! yikes! =o)
Thanks for sharing your work with us!!!!
xxooxx!

Stunnig lo, Debbie! Pure vintage.
I'm amazed how you manage to put all these embellishments and to make them work together so perfectly! I find it so hard to put lots of embellishments ane yet make them all go together. I just love love love this lo.
Ane I agree with you about those old photos. There's something very appealing about the simplicity of those days.
