4 Members Only

Brrr, it's a chilly and windy morning here in Maryland.  Fall is definitely here and I hope to stay.  We've had too much back and forth weather lately.  One day in the 90's a few days later in the 50's.  I'm still fighting my cold, got some serious congestion going on.  Thought I was getting better the other day, but now feel like I have taken a few steps back.  I had a little burst of energy last night so I took advantage of it and took on a challenge over at the Paper Poppy Kit Co.
I discovered the Paper Poppy Kit Club several months back and love the wonderful kits Aphra puts together each month.  Such a mix of papers and embellishments.  It really makes you think outside of the box!  I just love her October kit, full of Pink Paislee Old School  and Lily Bee Catching Fall!  Her October challenge includes a sketch
and using a number in your title, along with something from her October kit.  When I saw the die cut paper from Pink Paislee with Members Only on it, I knew I had to do a boy layout. Even though the Pink Paislee products are all school related, I wanted to push myself to do a non-school theme.  I found a picture of my son and his three cousins, just hanging out and being cool! The boy on the far right of the photo posing like he is one cool dude, is my son!
The chipboard house was part of thekit along with the chalkboard.  Actually everything I used on my layout is from Aphra's October kit with the exception of the star studs which I had in my stash.
Love the ruler!  Thought is was perfect for adhering "rule" to!
Don't you just love these cut fabric covered brads from Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker?  Perfect to use as zeroes in my 100%!
Well, I've got a ton of things to get done this weekend!  It's already 11:00 am and I'm still in my pjs.  Need to get my act together.  Besides cleaning and laundry, I have a mini album to finish, a DT project due by Wednesday and a Crate Paper sketch contest challenge due by October 22nd, that I want to enter. I also started a Halloween layout last week that got put on the back burner after I got sick.  Need to finish it and get it posted!
I posted the winner of my blog candy on the 14th and have not yet heard from Darlene.  I will give her to the 21st and if I do not hear from her I will draw a new winner.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Awesome LO, love all the detail! It's chilly here in Virginia and I love it! Just hope we don't have another winter like last year, we were snowed in several days.
