Simply Sweet - Frosted Designs Buttons Challenge

Well, it's Friday and time for a new challenge at Frosted Designs.  This week the designers had to use buttons on their layouts.  Please stop by and see the beautiful creations the DT has come up with this week.  Here is my layout. I found this picture of my daughter and niece back from 1997.  My daughter who was 7 at the time so adored her little niece.
I based my layout on Sketch #67 over at The Scrappiest

I sort of  went through a minor withdrawal when working on this layout, as I am normally one who would fill my page and leave no space uncovered.  I am quite happy with how this turned out and have now convinced myself that it is alright to leave some white space.  I used paper by Jillibean Soup, Sassafrass Lass and  Cosmo Cricket.  The adorable strawberry chip board is by Cosmo Cricket, and I used my Fiskars border punch.  I added double buttons to the centers of the flowers and added some butterflies I cut out using a Martha Stewart punch.

Would you like a chance to win this yummy blog candy!

This yummy blog candy is up for grabs over at Frosted Designs.  The rules are simply. For each project that you enter during the month of June you will have a chance to win this simply super yummy blog candy:

Another "wow" layout! You're right -- it does have some white space, but that's just fine. I love the wonderfully bright colors. Another great one.

Another fabulous page, Debbie. Love those bright colors and the simplicity is perfect for your title .. and yet there is plenty of detail to be interesting! I feel your pain on the white space after last week's SOUS sketch LO but I enjoy doing something different. You have been a busy girl and I love seeing all your new creations! Your flower photos are fantastic!
