A Card For A Friend

I rarely make cards, but I have a friend who is really going through some rough times and I thought a hand made card woud cheer her up.  I also thought I would enter this card in the current challenge over at Practical Scrappers.  Their challenge this week is to use some type of embossing on your project.

I went through my cuttlebug embossing folders and came across the swirl one.  After I embossed the paper, I inked it with chestnut roan ink.  All papers are Basic Grey Sugared.  Pearl flourish by Prima, photo corner by EK Success.  Love the font I used.  It's called Bizzy Bee.The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.

Oh Debbie, this card is brilliant! I love the inking, the colors are perfect for showing the embossed cardstock! Thanks for playing at Practical Scrappers again this week!
