Hi everyone! I'm up on the Creative Embellishments Blog today. With Christmas fast approaching I thought I would create a framed Christmas Scene. Perhaps a gift for a friend? Who knows??

I used papers from Mintay's Home for Christmas collection. I started off with a frame from the dollar store. I painted it with some Folk Art Winter Blue paint, stippled with some Folk Art Titanium White paint and Folk Art Metallic Sahara Gold paint. Lots of fussy cutting and festive Christmas chipboard from the store.
The center of my scene highlights a window from Window Set 5, painted with DecoArt Bittersweet Chocolate paint and stippled with Folk Art Winter Blue paint. I randomly dabbed on some Prima Finnabair Bronze Age Wax and Folk Art Metallic Sahara Gold paint.
The window rests on top of the large piece from Simple Doily Frames, painted with DecoArt Americana Winter Blue paint and stippled with Folk Art Titanium White paint. Resting on top of the doily frame is the Pine Needle Frame, painted with DecoArt Americana Evergreen paint, Folk Art Clover paint and stippled with the Folk Art Titanium White paint.
Holly leaves from the Holly and Berry Set were painted with DecoArt Americana Evergreen and Clover paint. Berries from the same set were painted with DecoArt Americana Santa Red paint and stippled with Folk Art Terra Cotta Mesa Pink Paint and sprinkled with some glitter. Snowflakes from the Chipboard Snowflakes, were painted with Folk art Titanium White and sprinkled with white glitter.
Believe it or not this project came together quite quickly.
