Hi everyone! I'm up on the Cretive Embellishments blog today. Ready to take a steampunk journey with me? I had a lot of fun working with a gear from Large Gear Frames along with papers from Stamperia's Lady Vagabond paper collection. The store has a great selection of steampunk shapes to work with and I used several pieces on my project.
I used a variety of colors of embossing powders, WOW Primary Bark and Stampendous Aged Teal, Aged Wine, Aged Bronze, Aged Taupe and Aged Spice on the chipboard pieces. Lots of layering along with some stamped flowers and Lady Vagabond printed chipboard.
The base of my project is a large gear frame from Large Gear Frames, embossed with a mixture of Primary Bark and Taupe embossing powders. On both sides of the large gear I used pieces from the Large Gear Set. Some pieces were embossed with Wine embossing powder and others with Teal.
Smaller gears from Gear Set 2 Small were embossed with Wine embossing powder along with a key from Steampunk Keys, embossed with a mixture of Primary Bark and Taupe embossing powders. A piece from Gear Flourish was embossed with Teal embossing powder and placed below the feet of Lady Vagabond.
The other piece from Gear Flourish, embossed with Teal embossing powder placed beneath the large gear from Large Gear Frames.
In the center I used a window from Arched Window Set of 3, embossed with Taupe embossing powder. To the right of the window I placed a piece from Simple Gear Flourish, embossed with Teal embossing powder along with a large gear from Large Gear Set, embossed with a mixture of Spice and Bronze embossing powders. Smaller gears from Gear Set 2 Small, embossed with Wine embossing powder were tucked in with the flowers.
