Enjoy The Ride - Featuring Blue Fern Studios Timeless Collection

Back today on a cold, snowy and icy day to share another layout created for Blue Fern Studios
featuring the new vintage collection Timeless.  Have I mentioned how much I love designing with the fabulous Blue Fern Studios products?  Between the papers, chipboard, glitter, embossing powders and stamps I'm in heaven!
My background paper is Song "Side B".  Lots of masking, misting and stamping using the Arcadia Textures, Forever, Romantic Accents, Shabby Edges and Vintage Edges stamps along with some embossing with Honey and Sage Imagine Ink Embossing Powders.  Lots of layering under a treasured photo, my dad on the right using Keepsakes and Calling Cards paper.

I used the Chelsea Medallion and Damask Panel  here and embossed both with Oatmeal and Sage embossing powders.

The butterfly was cut from the Papillions paper and embossed with the Honey and Sage embossing powders.

True Romance Featuring Blush by Blue Fern Studios

Hi everyone!  So glad it's Friday.  With the weekend coming that means lots of free time to create! It is suppose to be freezing this weekend, so I plan to stay inside.  Today I have a layout to share with you using the new Blush paper Collection by Blue Fern Studios.  Another gorgeous collection, perfect for those romantic layouts.  I created this layout for a special friend of mine.
The background paper is Key To My Heart.  The colors and details on the paper are beautiful! I applied masking, misting with Imagine Ink Cotton Candy Mist, stamping with Romantic Accents and Texture Circles to the background.  Layers of papers under my photo include Callings Cards and Cupids Folly.

The True Romance chipboard was embossed with a mixture of  Pearl and Cotton Candy embossing powders, then lightly stamped with the Romantic Accents stamp.  I used the Floral Heats chipboard which I cut apart and embossed with Cotton Candy and added pink paint.  The flowers from the Floral Hearts are placed randomly on my layout.

Both sides of the photo include pieces of the Floral Hearts chipboard and Turkish Bits chipboard which I colored with gelatos and misted with Imagine Ink Persimmon Mist.

Dream Big . . . Featuring Blue Fern Studios Serendipity

Hi everyone!  I'm excited to share a layout with you featuring Blue Fern Studios new paper collection Serendipity.  Another gorgeous collection designed by Michelle Singh.  The new Serendipity collection was introduced  last month along with new chipboard, glitter and embossing powders.  Here is what I created with the Serendipity papers.
I created this layout for a special friend of mine.  I hope she likes it.  Serendipity is a gorgeous collection!  Love the vintage look, details and colors.  Here I've used the Chronicle paper for my background.  I applied some masking, misting using the Imagine Ink Sky and Winter Mint Mists along with the Arcadia Textures and Romantic Accent stamps and paint splatters. I used the Reminisce and Calling Cards papers to layer under my photo.

I used two chipboard pieces here.  The new Swan Gate along with the Swirly Circle.  Both were embossed with Oatmeal and Sea Mist embossing powders.  I then randomly added some paint and micro beads.

My title Dream Big is from The Optimist Word Set.  I first painted the words and then sprinkled on some Cranberry Glitter.

Timeless - Blue Fern Studios February Sketch Challenge

It's time for another new sketch challenge over at Blue Fern Studios and
Michele Singh has created another beautiful sketch exclusively for Blue Fern for February.   Here is my take on the sketch using papers from the new Timeless collection, featuring a treasured photo of my grandparents.   I used the Freedom Side B paper for my background and the Calling Cards, Keepsakes and Papillon papers for layering.   Lots of stamping on the background paper using Blue Fern stamps Romantic Accents and Dreamy, along with some masking and paint splatters.

A few closeups:

In both of the above pictures I used the Blooming Foliage chipboard which I covered with brown texture paste and then sprinkled with Imagine Ink Pyrite Glitter.

I love the Tattered Butterfly chipboard!  I embossed it with a combination of Iris, Pearl and Buttercup Imagine Ink Embossing Powders.

My title is the new Timeless chipboard, which I embossed with a combination of the Iris, Pearl and Buttercup embossing powders and then lightly inked with black.

And here is the February sketch:

The sketch challenge rules:

One lucky winner, selected by a random draw, will receive a prize package of Blue Fern Studios chipboard!
In addition, we will also select 3 (or more) layouts to feature.
We have just a few simple rules to follow if you would like to participate in our sketch challenge:

flipping/turning/mirroring it to suit your needs!
2). Please note that you can do whatever type of project you please - a layout, card,
canvas, altered item- whatever suits your mood and style!
We would love to see the different ways our sketch can be used.
3.) You must use at least one piece of Blue Fern Studios chipboard OR use Blue Fern Studios paper on your project. Please note that you do not need to use the pieces featured in the sketch
