Scraptown Lady Guest Designer!

CLICK HERE FOR THE FROSTED DESIGNS BLOG HOP.

I'm so excited today to be guest designing for Scraptown Lady!  Cheryl, owner of Scraptown Lady contacted me to see if I was interested in guest designing. Of course I jumped at the opportunity!  She let me choose what papers I wanted to work with and I chose Prima Fairy Belle.  When my box arrived I was overjoyed at all of the beautiful papers and embellishments she sent me to work with!
On background I used the Firefly sheet from Prima's Fairy Belle Collection.

Here I used a Melissa Frances resin scroll which I inked with some Tsukineko eggplant ink and some Kaisercraft Iceberg roses.

A beautiful Prima Pixie Vine Fairy Belle flower spray and rose button which I inked with some Tsukineko eggplant ink.

Tucked beneath my picture is some Wright Venice Scallop Edge Rose lace.

Here I have added a heart button which I inked with some Tsunikido pink ink.

My favorite part of Prima's papers besides the beautiful graphics is the opportunity to fussy cut.  Here I have cut some flowers from the Summer Dreams sheet and tucked them beneath my picture.  I framed the large white doily with some tulle.

Please stop by the Scraptown Lady blog here and leave me a little love and while you're there check out their store.  Cheryl recently got in some new products.  You can also like Scraptown Lady on Facebook here and view their new products here.
.

All of the products I have highlighted can be found in the Scraptown Lady Store here.

Days Like This Make Me So Happy

As I was typing this post I  realized that I haven't posted anything in almost two weeks . . . yikes!  Between being sick and dealing with day to day issues, time passes by too quickly.  I broke into my July kit from Artful Delight and created this layout using their July sketch.  I love the challenge #19, Patchwork Effect at Scrap Africa which I incorporated into my layout along with Bird Is The Word's newest word challenge - Celebrate.

I love the bright vibrant colors in the papers!

Here are a few closeups:

Believe it or not I will be back tomorrow to share another layout with you!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Beautiful Summer Day

Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a layout I created for the July challenge at Berry71bleu,
"Anything Goes"!!!
Yes, you read it right, anything goes -  create whatever YOU want to in July and link your project up for your chance to win some fabulous prizes!

This month Berry71Bleu is also sponsoring CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration!   Our Design Team is  joining CSI as Guest Detectives for the entire month of July.  We'll be sharing our layouts here after they go live on the CSI site each week. Join us for any one of the weekly CSI Challenges for a chance to win a $35 Gift Certificate to the Zeus and Zoe Etsy Shop!

My page is based on Casefile #80 at CSI. I have used the colors from The Scene -
Canteloupe Orange, Chartreuse, Pale Pink, White & Taupe.  When looking through my paper stash I came across the Songbird collection by Prima, perfect for the CSI colors!

Our July DT sponsor and Main Prize sponsor is:
Heartfelt Creations with a $30.00 Gift Certificate

I used their Vintage Floret Frame set  (die and coordinating stamp) to create the background for my picture along with a corner chipboard piece by Scrapiniec, DT sponsor for the month of July.

Here I've added lots of flowers from my stash along with two chipboard pieces from Scrapiniec.

And here are a few more closeups of my layout:

For our July challenge we also a a random winner prize:
