Hi everyone! I up on the Creative Embellishments blog today with over sized tag full of lots of Creative Embellishments chipboard. I recently purchased several paper collections by Stamperia and chose to work with their Time Is An Illusion collection. I found it to be mystical and timeless. I incorporated several pieces of Creative Embellishments into the design.
On the base of the tag I used some lace from my stash which I sprayed with a couple of colors and then added some Prima Art Alchemy waxes and copper glass glitter. I then built up layers with various papers. I inked all of the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
Here I used a chipboard piece from Small Intricate Frames. I stamped it with some Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock and Stormy Skies. I then applied some Prima wax in Antique Gold and Red Amber and some bling. I cut a piece from some sequined netting I had in my stash and glued it to the back of the frame. To the left of the frame I used Heart Dangle 3. I stamped it with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink and added various colors of Prima Wax in Antique Gold, Rich Copper, Red Amber and Peacock. To the left of the frame I used the Mandala Lotus. I treated it with the same technique used on the Heart Dangle 3. I cut the Mandala Lotus in half and placed the other half on the lower right hand side of the tag.
I used a butterfly from Butterflies (Set of 5). I used the same treatment on the butterfly as I did on the Small Intricate Frame.
On both sides of the tag I used the Flourish 20. I used the same treatment on it as the frame and butterfly, but also added some Lucky Emerald wax. I cut the flourish into 3 pieces and placed them about the tag. Beneath the Mandala Lotus I used a piece from the Mosaic Panel. I used the same treatment on it as I did on the Mandala Lotus. To finish off the tag I added some flowers and seedlings.
